Website Terms of Use
Meadow Psychiatry Mind & Body LLC
Effective date: September 22, 2026
These Website Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of meadowpsych.com (the “Website”), which is operated by Meadow Psychiatry Mind & Body LLC (“Meadow Psychiatry,” “the practice,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Website Information Is Not Medical Advice
The Website provides general information about the practice and mental-health services. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a qualified health care professional.
Do not rely on Website information to make decisions about a medical or mental-health emergency, medication, diagnosis, or treatment. The practice does not guarantee that Website information is complete, current, or right for your individual situation.
2. Emergencies and Crisis Support
Do not use this Website, a Website form, email, or social-media message for an emergency, urgent safety concern, or crisis. The practice does not continuously monitor Website messages.
If you are in immediate danger, have thoughts of harming yourself or another person, or need urgent help, call 911, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency department.
3. No Physician-Patient Relationship
Using the Website, viewing Website information, submitting an inquiry, requesting an appointment, or communicating with the practice through the Website does not establish a physician-patient relationship. A physician-patient relationship begins only when the practice accepts you for care and you complete the practice’s required intake process.
The practice may decline or defer an appointment request where it determines that the requested services are outside the practice’s scope, unavailable, clinically inappropriate, legally unavailable, or otherwise not a fit for the practice.
4. Medicare, Insurance, and Payment
The practice does not accept commercial insurance and does not submit claims to commercial insurance plans.
Medicare and Medicare Advantage: Dr. Nikki Westbrook has not opted out of Medicare. The practice cannot privately furnish Medicare-covered psychiatric services outside the applicable Medicare rules. If you have Medicare, Medicare Advantage, pending Medicare enrollment, or are unsure about your coverage, you must complete the practice’s coverage review before scheduling or paying for services. Do not assume that a consultation fee, membership payment, or other payment means that Medicare-covered psychiatric services are available through the practice.
The practice may ask for information needed to review coverage and eligibility. The practice may cancel, decline, or reschedule a request if the coverage review shows that it cannot lawfully provide the requested services.
5. Good Faith Estimates
Individuals who are uninsured or who do not plan to use insurance may have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges before services are provided. Please see the practice’s Good Faith Estimate Notice for more information and instructions on how to request an estimate.
6. Appointment Requests and Communications
An appointment request is not a confirmed appointment. The practice will confirm an appointment only after completing its required review and sending confirmation.
Do not send confidential, highly sensitive, or urgent information through an ordinary Website form or email. Use the practice’s secure patient portal or another secure method only when the practice directs you to do so.
7. Telehealth
Telehealth may not be appropriate for every person or every clinical need. If the practice provides telehealth services, the patient must be physically located in a state where the provider may lawfully provide care at the time of the visit. The practice may verify the patient’s identity and location and may require an in-person evaluation, referral, or a higher level of care when appropriate.
Telehealth services are subject to the same professional standards as in-person care. Technology failures, privacy limitations in a patient’s setting, and emergency-location issues may affect whether telehealth is appropriate.
8. Permitted Website Use
You may use the Website for lawful, personal, and noncommercial purposes. You may not:
use the Website in a way that violates law or another person’s rights;
interfere with Website security or operation;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to Website systems or information;
use automated tools to scrape, copy, or monitor Website content without written permission; or
submit false, misleading, harmful, or unlawful information through the Website.
9. Intellectual Property
The Website and its text, design, logos, graphics, and other content are owned by or used with permission by the practice and are protected by applicable law. You may view and print Website content for personal, noncommercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use Website content for commercial purposes without the practice’s written permission.
10. Third-Party Links and Tools
The Website may include links to third-party websites or tools, including patient portal, telehealth, payment, crisis-resource, or social-media platforms. The practice does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy, or security practices of third-party websites or tools. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the practice makes no warranty, express or implied, about the Website, including its availability, security, accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the practice will not be liable for losses or damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website; reliance on Website information; website interruptions; or third-party websites or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
13. Changes to the Website or These Terms
The practice may change, suspend, or discontinue the Website or any Website feature at any time. The practice may update these Terms by posting an updated version on the Website with a new effective date. Your continued Website use after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute concerning the Website or these Terms must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in South Carolina, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
